So, I really try not to brag but this blog is NOT trying today.
JJ and I went to Las Vegas for the Maroon5 show in the Pearl Theater in The Palms Casino and Resort. The show was awesome (as is my face in this photo!)
Us and Adam Levine (vocals and guitar)
Us and Mickey Madden (bass)
Jesse Carmichael (keyboard) disappeared so I didn't get a pic.
We also spotted other celebs, but didn't get photos. We saw Huey Lewis and David Spade. But the most exciting personally was meeting the main actors from Chuck.
Here we are with Joshua Gomez (Morgan) and Zachary Levi (Chuck). I think I freaked them out when I said, "Uh, my brother is in Maroon5 so I'm not, like, a psycho" which my sister assured me is a way to make people think that you really ARE a psycho. So, my point in telling them that was 1) to brag 2) to give myself some non-psycho credibility and 3) to give them something to tell the boys in M5 if they meet (see, not psycho, nice!) I was pretty excited because husband and I really like the show.
We got to spend some time with James and hang out as a family in his suite. We had a late dinner and checked out the view.
So, how was your weekend?
(I couldn't resist, but I'll return now to my "humble" self!)

I love the picture that shows Zachary looking like he's trying to be interested in what you're saying, but there's obviously a little fear behind his eyes.
You are so weird, and have stalker tendencies that need to be addressed. Also, you get really loopy when you're tired.
He was intently listening to what my darling husband was saying. I included the picture to show what a genuine guy he is.
Yay Gina...thanks for being the first to post about it... good job.
Love the pictures. How is it that those guys don't look ANY DIFFERENT than they did 7 years ago (more facial hair). Isn't the hard core rocker lifestyle supposed to age them a LITTLE bit?
LUCKY!!! Next time you travel to see Maroon 5, we're inviting ourselves.
We missed you at the DNA date night though! xoxo
Oh Gina... you are so "humble"! I'd be bragging. You have every right. Looks like fun. Karlin
Looks like too much fun. We have been to see them twice now. James was so nice to come out and see us after the concert in 2005 (in Dallas). Did he tell you that? I felt all special and famous. I'm glad to see you love sewing! Email me sometime! Ahnah
Gina- I was telling my sisters that I knew James Valentines sister when we started talking about Maroon 5 and we were messing around online so we looked up your blog. (Yes, I blog stalked you) That being said, I am super jealous that you met Zachary Levi. I LOVE Chuck! I will have to keep checking your blog to keep up with all you hob-nobbing!
That's HOT! You are most most famous friend.
